About Us
As we all know, the cooperative sector has been playing distinct and significant role in the process of socio-economic development of the country. Therefore, cooperatives have been accepted as the best agency for achieving various financial goals. GIT Employee’s Co-operative Credit Society Limited started way back in the year 1993, with the noble vision of helping members of its society financially by encouraging savings, co-operation & self-help. The society, over a period of time, has grown steadily to this size because of the selfless service rendered by pervious Chairmen, Board of Directors and all its employees.
In the year 2009-2010 the share capital was 69.02 Lakhs, which has grown substantially to 268.55 Lakhs at the end of 2021-2022 financial year. This shows our work transparency and trust of members on our core team.
Chairman's Message
Dear Friends, I am pleased to welcome you to peruse this platform of our esteemed GIT Employee’s Co-operative Credit Society Limited, designed to promote economic interest of its members and to encourage savings, cooperation & self-help among themselves.
It all started in the year 1993, with few noted and visionary gentlemen filled with the spirit of helpful association, took the challenge of building this cooperative society. Since then, many have served this cooperative society with the singular intent of generating funds by means of share collections, deposits, borrowings & to lend to the needy members of the society at moderate rate of interest.
As a Chairman of this cooperative society, I confidently state that we are fully equipped to give quality service to our esteemed members and now upgraded with digital facility as well. Every year we have been paying a handsome dividend of 9.5% to our esteemed members.
Members Satisfaction and Growth of the Cooperative Society - remains the Mantra of our core team and we are working hard towards this goal. We have never deviated from the objectives and vision of the cooperative society.
I am grateful to all our share-holders and staff for their unflinching cooperation and support. I thank all of you for your continued support and encouragement. I hope you will continue to be with us and guide us to realize our dreams of taking our cooperative society to greater heights.
